While our pub classics, and most of English cuisine for that matter, are notoriously meat-centric, we offer choices for those of your party who are lacto-ovo vegetarian, including salads, savory pies, flatbreads, wraps and, yes, even Impossible Burgers. Any item with beside is or can be modified to be a vegetarian item. If you’re cruising our website, you can filter our menu by selecting the Vegetarian dietary preference to see all your options or just ask your server.

While we are not a gluten-free environment and products containing gluten are prepared in our kitchens, we do offer menu items that can be modified to accommodate a gluten sensitivity. On our menu, look for items with the to see which items are Gluten Intolerant Friendly or can become Gluten Intolerant Friendly with modifications. If you’re checking out our website, you can filter the menu by this dietary preference to see all your options. Or just ask your server the next time you’re at E&C.

Yes, we have quite a few options for you to enjoy your E&C favourites at home.

Most of our locations deliver if you don't feel like leaving the comforts of your home.

In the US, you can find us on Uber Eats, Door Dash, Postmates and Grub Hub.

In Canada, you can find us on UberEats, Door Dash and SkipTheDishes.

That said, not all our items are resilient enough to travel well beyond the borders of our establishment. Keep in mind that not all the delicious items we prepare in our kitchens travel well, so our pick-up and delivery menus may vary slightly from what we offer for dine-in.

We had a feeling you’d ask. After all, such a strange combination of words has a way of conjuring together visions of an unlikely friendship between a large land mammal and an obsolete defensive structure. In truth, our name comes from a neighborhood in south London. Plus, a proper English pub always has two names.

Right, our Elephant & Castle locations take reservations through OpenTable. Easiest way to find out is to click that ‘Reserve a Table’ button in the top right-hand corner of the website.

However, if you have a larger group, check out our Events page or give us a call to make sure we can comfortably accommodate everyone in your group. 

Absolutely! Every E&C has slightly different event capabilities, so check out the Events page for more and make an inquiry there.

All our locations allow minors and serve a kid’s menu. Keep in mind we often don’t have a distinction of division between the restaurant and bar, if you want to know more about the location nearest you, just give us a ring.

With all E&C locations in central, downtown areas, we don’t have dedicated parking but there are plenty of paid parking options around each location. Alternately, we say leave the car at home so you can fully enjoy the E&C experience. Under our locations page, select a location and view Details to see the closest transit stop to the location.

We have a few options for you! Right here on our website, click Gift Cards and you’ll see all your options. Alternatively, all of our E&C locations sell gift cards, and you can find us in many retail locations as a part of the Ultimate Dining Card program.

Our gift cards can be used to pay for your meal when you dine with us at any of our restaurants or when ordering through our website. At this time, gift cards activated in Canada can only be redeemed in our Canadian locations, in person or online. As well as gift cards activated in the USA can only be redeemed in our USA locations, in person or online.

Due to technical mumbo jumbo that is way beyond us, you can only use one gift card at a time on our website. But when dining in-restaurant, you can use as many as you have to apply to your bill.

Currently, our gift cards are not valid on any third-party delivery apps, like Uber Eats & Door Dash.
